Accommodation

The conference will commence in the afternoon of Thursday 18 October and will conclude around noon of Saturday 20. With this in mind, we have made the following accommodation arrangements: :

  • We have booked two nights at hotel Rezidence Dlouhá (Dlouhá 17, Prague 1, next to the Old Town Square) from Thursday 18th to Saturday 20th (i.e. arrival Thursday, departure Saturday). For further information (how to get to the residence etc.) please consult the Rezidence Dlouha web page.

  • For Prague-based participants, no accommodation has been booked.

If you would like your accommodation booking to be altered in any way, please contact Dr. Cermanová describing your requirements as soon as possible.

Conference venue

The conference will take place at the Centre for Medieval Studies, Jilská 1, Prague. The Centre is situated next to the Saint Giles church (kostel svatého Jiljí) not far from Národní třída (yellow line B) or Můstek and Staroměstská (green line A) subway and tram stations - see the maps below. If you are planning to use the public transport, please consult the web page of the Prague transport company beforehand.
